In a nutshell, Ele Imports is an importer and distributor of all things bike-related. We specialise in seeking out the most innovative products and bringing them to market. We are passionate about the products we import and will not stop till a product’s potential is realised. Our big blue elephant inspires us to keep pushing the limits, in the wild the elephant is a force of nature, determined and powerful, just like our ele.

Ele Imports started in 2009 but has already shown growth and potential with a product offering that is unique and captivating. So don’t let our age put you off, at Ele, we believe it to be our strength:

• We enjoy a close partnership with manufacturers of some of the most innovative high-end cycling components in the global market: Brave Soldier, Foss, Extralite, 12O'Clock, F&N, Scrub, eeCycleWorks. These companies are continually pushing the boundaries of design and engineering.

• We have a local presence and the benefit of local knowledge. We sponsor local riders, and support our local mtb and road cycling competitions. At Ele, we know what the riders want because we are the riders.

So how does Ele work?

There are two distinct arms to our business, Biggride and Ele Imports. Both fall under the Ele group of companies. Biggride is our retail side, where we bring the products direct to consumer, whether they be retailer or end-consumer. Biggride believes that all products should be easily accessible online, and that the online shopping experience should be enhanced by top-notch honest customer service.
Ele Imports is our distributor site. This is also where we bring it all together, updates on what exciting new products Ele is launching, live picture feeds from trade shows and lots of glossy pictures which proudly showcase our products.
